For the 44th consecutive year, the Portlaoise Singers will perform their Chirstmas Show.
On Sunday December 17, they will take to the stage at the Midlands Park Hotel for what promises to be another memorable night.
In total, there are 65 members of the Portlaoise Singers and they come from all over the county.
This year, they will be joined on the stage by sopranos Heather Fogarty and Niamh Griffin.
Fogarty will perform with the Portlaoise Singers just a couple of days after doing the same at a fundraising concert in aid of St Peter’s Church of Ireland.
For the first time, the Portlaoise Singers will be joined by three talented young performers – Sophie Mac Namara, Caoimhe Fitzpatrick and Jenifer Osadolor.
The group will perform classics like Nessun Dorma as well as a range of folks songs from around the world.
The second half of the show will consist of traditional carols and it will end with a rendition of Holy Night.
Doors open in the Midlands Park Hotel at 7.30pm with the show kicking off at 8pm.
Tickets, priced at €15, are on sale from the Dunamaise Theatre and also are available at the door on the night.
