It goes without question that Portlaoise town has been prepapring for Christmas over the past few weeks.
Since Halloween, shops have been out in full force with Christmas stock.
And some of the window decorations have been really impressive.
From tins of sweets, to Christmas decorations, lights, trees, board games and just a general sense of things getting busier in the town of Portlaoise, you can really feel that the countdown is underway.
The Christmas lights were turned on in the town on Sunday evening with a great atmosphere as large crowds attended the Christmas market on Main Street, despite the cold damp weather.
We went on a tour of the town to capture photos that show the Christmas spirit.
We were in Laois Shopping Centre, Telfords, Main Street, Lyster Square and Ken Blacks and the images we got will surely get you in the mood for Christmas.
