Christmas is coming and Miller’s Hardware in Portlaoise are holding a clearance sale all this week in their premises on Coliseum Lane.
The shop will be open from 9am to 6pm everyday this week with all items on sale at half price and you could well get yourself a bargin before Christmas.
As well as furniture and homewares, there will be Christmas trees, lights, decorations and all types of Christmas paraphernalia.
The well-known hardware shop was established in April 1973 by Pat Miller and was originally on Main Street.
It then moved to Coliseum Lane in 1980 and then on to a purpose-built building in 2006.
It closed earlier this year after over 40 years in business but will be open all this week with a stock clearance sale.
This week will have a real Christmas feel to it as the lights are due to be switched on in Portlaoise on Sunday.
The Christmas Market will also be held in the town on the same day.
