We’re well over half way through October now and before we know it, it will be Ch…
No it’s still too early to say that word yet!
Anyway, there are still loads of events taking place in Laois over the next three days.
And below, we bring you the best of them:
FRIDAY 20 OCTOBER
- The Sleep Out for Simon takes place this evening at O’Moore Park. Registration is at 9pm and those who have muscial instruments are invited to bring them along. Sponsorship cards must be handed in on the night.
- A Dinner Party takes place tonight with proceeds going to Mellon Educate volunteers at 8pm. The funds are going towards building schools in a township in Capetown, South Africa.
- U21 FC quarter finals – Sarsfields v Portarlington in Annanough at 8pm, St Joseph’s v Portlaoise in Crettyard at 7.45pm
SATURDAY 21 OCTOBER
- A Durrow and Abbeyleix Enterprise Town event will take place at Heywood Community School from 11am to 3pm. There will be over 60 local businesses, clubs and societies at the event.
- Durrow Easyriders are holding an anniversary gala ball in the Templemore Arms in aid of the LauraLynn Children’s Foundation.
- Leinster IFC – Hollywood v Emo in Aughrim at 3pm
- Leinster JHC – Erin’s Isle v Trumera in O’Toole Park at 2pm
SUNDAY 22 OCTOBER
- ACHL Division 3 final – Ballypickas v Mountmellick in Training Centre at 3pm
