Gardaí are appealing for information after three vans were broken into overnight.
The vehicles were burgled in Mountmellick, Ballybrittas and Portlaoise.
Tools were taken from the vans in each case.
The incident comes less than a day after a house was ransacked in Rosenallis.
The incident occurred in the Glenbarrow area of the rural Laois village around around 10am yesterday.
A large quantity of cash as well as jewellery and electrical equipment was stolen.
There is no indication that the incidents are connected.
No arrests have been made in either case and anyone with information are asked to contact Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 8674100.
