If you’re a secondary school student and think you have what it takes to craft outrageous couture designs from junk, the people behind Junk Kouture want to hear from you.
They want you to get your creative juices flowing and enter next year’s Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture 2018 competition.
The call out for entries for the all Ireland secondary school competition will be launched this tomorrow by style guru Pippa O’Connor and Louis Walsh.
They will be joined by the four 2018 winners, who will showcase their fabulous junk outfits giving future entrants a taster of what can be achieved and is expected.
The event takes place Tivoli Theatre, Francis St, Dublin 8 and Pippa and Louis will be on hand for comments.
This year, Laois had ten designs in the regional Junk Kouture finals.
Scoil Chriost Ri lead the way with eight designs shortlisted for the South Regional Final.
There was also one representative each from Mountrath CS and Mountmellick CS.
Registration for this year’s event opens on January 8 and closes on January 22.
