Laois) 16th September 2017 (peacefully) in the devoted care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital surrounded by her loving family, beloved wife of the late Tony; very sadly missed by her children Thomas, Yvonne, Anthony, Paul and Seamus, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Susan, Anne and Wendy, and dear friend Michael, sisters Kay and Josie, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock on Monday between 4pm and 6pm. Removal on Tuesday, 19th September, to Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace Church, Raheny arriving for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.
Margaret (Peg) Farrell (née Bergin)
Rathfarnham, Dublin/Mountrath, Laois
Farrell (nee Bergin) 17th September, 2017, Margaret (Peg), Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, formerly of Redcastle, Mountrath, Co. Laois. (Peacefully) surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Tallaght Hospital. Predeceased by her granddaughter Shirley. Beloved wife of the late James and much loved mother of Marie, Anne, Paul and Alan. Peg will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Billy, sister-in-law Sheila, extended family, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue Village tomorrow, Tuesday evening, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham arriving at 9.50 am for 10 am Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Bohernabreena Cemetery. “House Private”. Peacefully, at her residence. Deeply regretted by her sister Jackie, brother Jason, niece Sian, brother-in-law Tom, uncle, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends. Reposing at Phelan’s Funeral Home, Durrow, from 2.00pm on Monday with rosary at 8.00pm. Funeral prayers on Tuesday morning at 10.15am, followed by removal to Holy Trinity Church, Durrow, for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Formerly Galway City. Peacefully at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise after a short illness surrounded by her loving family. Loving wife of the late Hughie, dear mother of the late Siobhan. Deeply regretted by her loving son Fran, daughter Margaret, sister Frances, son-in-law John, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Saturday from 8pm with Rosary at 9pm. Reposing on Sunday from 5:15pm with Removal at 6:50pm arriving St Michael’s church Portarlington at 7:30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s cemetery Portarlington.

Kennedy (nee Brophy), Rathmore, Ballybrophy, Co. Laois. September 15th 2017 following a brief illness, Phyllis, peacefully at St. James’s hospital, Dublin. Deeply regretted by her husband Joe and her family, Robert and Lola, Sharon and Damien, grandchildren Adam, Ava and Evan, her sisters Sally(Ryan), Kitty (Kennedy), Lily (Walsh), Imelda (Dwyer), Helen (Maloney), Teresa (Ryan) and Ber (Guidera), and her brothers Harry Brophy and Joe Brophy, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends. Reposing at O’Sullivan’s funeral home on Sunday evening from 4pm with funeral prayers at 6pm followed by removal at 6:30 to the Church Of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon followed by burial in Bealady Cemetery.

Victor Brydone, New Inn Cross, Emo, Portlaoise, Died September 12th Peacefully at his residence. Predeceased by his wife Peggy and son Peter. Deeply regretted by his sons Jamie, David and Richard, brother Anthony, Sisters Joyce and Barbara, daughter-in-law Mary, sister-in-law Mon, brothers-in-law, grandchildren Leon and Aaron relatives and friends. Removal from Moloney’s Funeral Home on Friday at 12.20pm to arrive at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Emo, for 1 o’clock. Cremation afterwards at Newlands Cross Crematorium.
