Are you interested in sports? If so, Laois Sports Partnership have an exciting training opportunity available.
Starting today, they have launched a new community coaching programme which will run for 14 weeks.
The Community Coaching Programme is focused on successfully
assisting unemployed people to gain employment, coaching,
volunteering and further education opportunities in the sports
sector.
They could work for example as coaches, referees or physical activity leaders.
The course is free of charge, consists for €2,500 worth of courses, with GAA, soccer, athletics and cricket as well as Sport Ireland accredited courses.
It also holds a level 4 QQI work experience module with Laois Offaly Education and Training Board along with a QQI first aid course.
The course consists of two and a half days per week from Wednesday to Friday.
