Wright, The Green, Kilminchy, Portlaoise,and late of Julianstown Co. Meath Sept 1st 2017. Allan, beloved husband of Iva and dearly loved dad to Janet, Barbara, Alan, Teresa and Siobhan. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers Billy and John, sisters Yvonne, Eileen and Sandra, grandchildren, Keri, Scott, Ciara, Chloe, Margaret, Alan, Alex, Lana and Robert, great-grandchildren, Holly-Jane, Paddy and Ellie, Predeceased by his granddaughter Kim, Nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home from 6.30pm on this Monday evening with funeral prayers at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday to SS Peter and Paul’s Church to arrive for 12 noon Funeral Service. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Cullenagh, Portlaoise, Laois
Peacefully, at Portlaoise Midland’s Regional Hospital. Deeply regretted by his wife Vera, sister Lily, brother-in-law Albert, sisters-in-law Lily and Janet, nephew Keith, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends. Reposing at Chapel of Rest, Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, from 12 noon Saturday 2nd September with prayers at 2pm leaving the Chapel of Rest at 2.30pm for Church Service at 3pm in Ballyroan Church of Ireland followed by burial in adjoining Church cemetery. Family flowers only donations if desired to Portlaoise Palliative Care.
Bridie Booth (née Moore)
Morette, Emo, Laois
The death has occurred of Bridie Booth (née Moore) Morette, Emo, Laois. Peacefully surrounded by her adoring family and in the loving care of the fantastic staff at Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington. Beloved wife of the late Christy and wonderful mother to Anne, Pat, Chris, John, Mary, Kevin, Brian, Máiréad, Bríd and Aidan. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters-in-law, Martina, Jo, Liz, Fiona, Judith and Paula; sons-in-law, John, Frank, Ger and Dave; 28 grandchildren, neighbours and friends. Pre-deceased by her sister Maggie and brother Michael.
The heart with the imperishable beauty of the gentle and quiet spirit. Reposing in her son John’s home from 2pm on Tuesday, with removal at 7pm to St. Paul’s Church, Emo. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Wednesday morning.

Quealy (neé McGee) – Jacqueline, Hillside, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly Borris in Ossary, Co. Laois, August 28th, 2017, in the care of The Stroke Unit of Mullingar Regional Hospital. She is deeply regretted by her husband Michael and family Jacinta, Genevieve, Enda and Albert, her brother Tom, sisters Sr. Ethel (Leighlinbridge) and Virginia Duffy, sons-in-law Gerry Forde and James Kavanagh, partners of her sons Claire and Aoife, grandchildren Luke, Seán, Adrian and Naoise, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, a wide circle of friends and her former teaching colleagues. Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr on Tuesday from 3.00o’c – 5.30o’c with Removal to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr at 6.30o’c. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11o’c, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr. Family Flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
