And they’re here!
Well at least the first of them are anyway.
Hundreds are taking part in the annual run from Athy to Electric Picnic this year and the quickest of them have already arrived.
These fit fellows reached the top of the Windy Gap around 12pm and have continued on their way to Stradbally Hall.
Tour de Picnic is now in its ninth year and once again, they are collaborating with three worthy charities: ISPCC, The Jack & Jill Foundation and Headway.
All those taking part have secured their ticket to the festival while raising money for these very worthy causes.
They will also receive the royal treatment which includes the official Tour de Picnic jersey, snacks, water, packed lunch, burger and beer on arrival , baggage transfer and return bus ticket.
The sun is shining brightly at the moment and the warm conditions are making it tough going for the competitors.
