An Information Evening for Laois Third Level will take place in the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise tonight.
The college, located in Bracklone Street, Portarlington, will hold the session between 6.30 and 8.30pm.
Speaking to LaoisToday ahead of tonight’s event, Margaret Morrin, who is the Director of Laois Third Level, urged people not to give up on education.
She said: “This is a chance for people to change their lives and get a certificate at levels 4, 5 and 6.
“The key message for everyone to remember is that it is never too late to return to education.
“There is a place for everyone here in Portarlington and I hope to see a big crowd coming over to visit us tonight.”
As well as tonight’s information evening, registration for courses beginning in September 2017 is now available.
And Laois Third Level have announced some new courses which will be available for the first time this year.
These include: Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) Level 8, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Management Level 8, Master of Economic Science in Policy Analysis Level 9, Certificate in Project Management Level 6, Diploma in Law Level 7 and IPASS Certified Payroll Technician (CPT) HETAC Level 6.
