Al Porter, Foil Arms and Hog, The Rubberbandits, Jason Byrne and Neil Delamere are just a few of the famous comedy acts lined up for this year’s Electric Picnic Music and Arts Festival.
One half of the Dermot and Dave show, Dermot Whelan, will take to the stage as well as the distinct grumblings of professional curmudgeon, Karl Spain.
International acts
Two of the UK’s comic genuises, Bill Bailey and Phil Jupitius, will be making their EP debut and are joined by visiting American comics Al Lubel and Abigoliah Schuman.
Improv Allstars will be creating whole sketches and sees whole comic dramas take off on stage.
Best of the Irish
The cream of the Irish crop has been included with Femme Fatale Deirdre O’Kane, the ‘Godfather of Irish comedy’, Barry Murphy, Fair City star Eric Lalor, madcap Fred Cooke, super smooth Danny O’Brien, Eleanor Tiernan, Savage Eye’s John Colleary and fulltime Westie, Steve Bennett.
The most exciting rising Irish acts will also strut their stuff and include Totally Wired, Joanne McNally, Tom O’Mahony, Laura Byrne, Bernard Casey, Davey Reilly, Ryan Cullen, TPM and Paul Currie.
