The annual Portlaoise Garden Fete took place yesterday, Sunday July 30.
Crowds young and old attended the event at Clegg’s on the Borris Road, Portlaoise.
The event was jam-packed full of acitivites including a Kids Zone for children, bottle stalls, afternoon tea and a Wheel of Fortune.
There was also a raffle and auction which went down extremely well on the day.
Organiser Phyllis Clegg thanked all those who turned out. “It was a great success and very well supported by the local community and those further away. We even had one man here from England,” she said.
The Fete was held in aid of PATH, Laois Arch Club, who are an organisation who provides recreational events for young people with special needs, and St Peter’s Church.
