Padraig died peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Brigid. Deeply regretted by his family Seamus, Geraldine, Mary and Fergus, his sister Mary Brennan, grandchildren Fiach, David, Brion, Thomas, Cormac, Caelinn and Saorla, sons-in-law Gerard and Steve, daughter-in-law Liz, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later in the week.

Peacefully at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise in his 97th year. Deeply regretted by his loving relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest In Peace. Reposing at Droimnin Nursing Home Stradbally on Monday from 4pm with Removal at 6:50pm arriving Church of the Assumption Vicarstown at 7:30pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to Moyanna Cemetery.

Dr Hugh Maguire. Dublin rd Portlaoise , July 15th 2017 Passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Helen and infant son Brian. Sadly missed by his loving children, Hugh, David, and Helen. sister Eileen, brother in law Jack, daughters in law, Derval and Bernadette, Grandchildren, Louise, Fionn, Hugh and Briain, Requiem mass on Monday in the Church of the Assumption The Heath at 11 am. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Pauls cemetery Portlaoise. Family flowers only. House private, please.

Mary Fennelly, Cuddagh, Castletown, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, July 16, 2017 (peacefully) at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband Michael (Mick). Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, Maria (Gilligan) and Cathriona (Clooney), sons-in-law Tom and John, grandchildren Jessica, Elisha, Jamie and Sophie, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her home in Cuddagh. Rosary in the house this Monday evening at 9 o’c. Removal on Tuesday morning July 18th. at 10.30 o’c to St. Edmund’s Church Castletown for Funeral Mass at 11 o’c, with burial immediately afterwards in Churchtown Cemetery, Castletown. House Private please on Tuesday morning.

White (nee Whelan), Moore Street, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. July 14 2017, peacefully at Villa Marie nursing home, Roscrea. Margaret (Peg). Predeceased by her mother May, her sisters Ber and Mary. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Mick, her sisters Sammy, Agnes and Betty and her brother Tom, brothers in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends. Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney on Sunday evening from 7pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral prayers on Monday evening at 6.30pm followed by removal at 7pm to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Rathdowney. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am, followed by burial in Bealady Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations can be made in lieu to the Alzheimers Society.
