Cannabis herb worth €10,500 has been seized at a house in Portlaoise.
The drugs were found in Gandon Close, Fairgreen, on Friday July 7, following a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act at approximately 10 am.
One man, a foreign national in his early 40s living in the area, was arrested a number of days later.
He is due to appear before Portlaoise District Court on July 27.
