The vacant Cedar Inn in Mountrath has sold for €80,000 at an Allsop auction.
The pub, which extended to 6,500 square foot, comprised of a bar, lounge, kitchen and smoking area and had been vacant for some time. It was located on the Rushin Road on the outskirts of the town.
The reserve range was €75-85,000.
