Died 4th July, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of ballard lodge nursing home,Portlaoise. Loving husband of the late Claire. Sadly missed by his loving family and friends. Reposing at his residence on Wednesday evening from 6 o’clock with rosary at 9 o’clock. Removal on Thursday at 12.30 arriving at St Joseph’s Church Mountmellick for Requiem Mass at 1 o’clock. Funeral afterwards to St Joseph’s cemetery. Family flowers only please. House private on Thursday morning please.

Thomas (Tommy) Lewis, Morette, Emo, Portlaoise. Died July 4th 2017 at his residence. Predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth and his brothers Michael, John and Paddy. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Margaret Malone (Enniscorthy), brothers, Bertie (Tullamore), Jimmy (New Inn Cross, Emo), Phil (The Heath, Portlaoise), Joe (Monasterevin), Wally (Ballybrittas), sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends. Removal on Wednesday evening at 6.50pm, arriving at St. Paul’s Church, Emo, at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon and burial immediately afterwards in the burial grounds of Church of the Assumption, The Heath.

Bernard Thompson, Ard Erin, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 2nd July 2017.Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath, this Monday evening from 8.30pm, with Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.30am to St. Fintan’s Church Ballyfin, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Ballyfin.

In St James’s Hospital, Dublin. Wife of the late Paddy-Joe. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Sean and Patrick, daughters Mary and Monica, son-in-law Jamie, daughter-in-law Marianne, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends. Removal from her residence this Wednesday evening at 7pm to The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, arriving 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Raheen.

She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Anda Racz and son Rudo Racz, grandchildren Hann and Hannah. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Guther. Sadly missed by all her family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5pm until 6pm. Cremation will take place on Tuesday morning in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 11am.

Bernadette (Bernie) Harris (nee Crimmins) of Slievemore Road, Drimnagh and late of Stradbally, Co. Laois, July 1st 2017, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Portlaoise Hospital after a short illness. Beloved daughter of Pat and Mary Crimmins. Beloved wife to Pat and dearly loved Mam to Karl and Shauna will be sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren Ryan and Cara, loving brother Séan and wife Sophia, son-in-law Martin, Karl’s partner Sandra, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, Zoe, Megan, Emma and Suzanne, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Reposing at her brother Séan’s house on Monday July 3rd from 4pm to 9pm – 7, New Road, Newlands, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, with removal on Tuesday to Mount Jerome Victorian Chapel to arrive for Funeral Service at 2pm (House Private on Tuesday please). Elizabeth (Liz), beloved wife of Andrew and dearly loved mam to Lisa and grandmother to beautiful granddaughter Isabelle. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brother Michael, son-in-law Oran, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.Reposing at her residence from 6 pm on Friday evening with rosary recital at 8 pm. Requiem Mass at 10 am on Saturday morning in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, followed by interment in SS Peter an Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise. Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Alzeimhers Society of Ireland.
