Vicarstown should be hopping this Friday night as Country music star Gerry Guthrie plays the Annanough GAA Summer Country Night.
With a fully licensed bar, a Prosecco bar, a promotion from local craft beer producer David Walsh Kemmis from Ballykilcavan Brewery, a chip van, a jiving competition and lots more it promises to be a great night.
From Ballina Gerry Guthrie has a string of awards to his name, including Album of the Year at the Irish Country Sound Awards 2013. His new album ‘A new moon over my shoulder’ over is out now.
Gerry Guthrie’s set will be followed by a DJ.
Tickets are €20 and doors open at 8.30pm. Tickets are available in Co Co’s Hair Salon in Stradbally, Crean’s Bar in Vicarstown and Fifty Seven Boutique in Portarlington and Athy.
Local taxis will be operating from Vicarstown on Friday night/Saturday morning when the show comes to a close.
The event is strictly over 18.
