Gardai are investigating whether a house fire in Portlaoise may have been started deliberately.
Nobody was in the house at O’Moore Place on Friday night, when the blaze caused significant interior damage.
Gardaí say that they are treating the incident, which occurred inside 66 O’Moore Place, as malicious and are urging anybody with information to come forward.
The fire started sometime between 10.30pm and 11pm on Friday night.
