A three kilometre stretch of road outside Ballyroan is currently closed following a crash involving a car and tractor.
Gardaí confirmed that the Portlaoise Road outside Ballyroan is closed following the collision.
It was also confirmed that the occupants of the vehicles received no serious injuries.
Emergency services attended the scene of the accident which occurred shortly after 10 am this morning.
AA Roadwatch also confirmed the closure of the R245 road.
