Killeen Civil Engineering, a family-run civil engineering company based in Portlaoise, have been crowned Laois Business of the Year.
Laois County Council, in association with the Local Enterprise Office and AIB, sponsored the event which highlighted the achievements and successes of Laois based companies across a wide range of sectors.
There were 28 nomineees from around the county shortlisted across nine different categories.
There were a total of 87 applications and the winners were announced at a gala evening in the Portlaoise Heritage Hotel.
Laois woman Louise Phelan, who is global vice-president of Paypal, was one of the judges while RTE’s Marty Whelan was the MC.
