Sixty six new houses are planned at Clonroosk in Portlaoise which will complete the unfinished estate.
Planning permission is being sought for the construction of 66 semi-detached houses at Clonroosk at Clonroosk Abbey, Clonroosk Link Road in Portlaoise.
The proposed development will complete the unfinished Clonroosk Abbey estate.
It will be developed on a 2.7 hectares site.
If granted planning permission it will feature 20 three-bedroom 2-storey semi-detached houses (113 sq m), 20 three-bedroom 2-storey semi-detached houses (111 sq m) and 26 four bedroom 2-storey houses with attic conversion semi-detached houses.
All the houses will include car parking (2 per house, totalling 132 spaces).
Primary car and pedestrian access will be via the existing Clonroosk Abbey internal road network, served from the current Clonroosk Abbey entrance on the Clonroosk Link Road.
A secondary pedestrian access will be via a new dedicated pedestrian entrance from the Clonroosk Link Road with with nine additional visit or car park spaces.
The development will include boundary treatments, hard and soft landscaping, private and public open spaces, roads and pedestrian walkways, services (including attenuation) site lighting and all other ancillary and associated site development works above and below ground level.
