GAA
Our junior footballers drew with Portlaoise last wednesday in the League. It was a promising result, we have a strong junior team this year and are hopeful to do well in the Junior championship. Our intermediates played Clonaslee last Saturday in the League, training continues as normal in the lead up to the various Championships. Our juvenile club continues weekly.
SVT
The SVT programme has introduced “Walking Football” and it is a great success, please follow the SVT Facebook page for details. The weekly Vicarstown park run is on at 9.30am every Saturday morning. The run is timed and chipped and is very well organised and its free!!
TIDY TOWNS
A big thanks to everyone who supported our Easter egg draw, the funds raised will go towards petrol and the up keep of the lawnmowers. Thanks to the Corner Shop and Bergins bar for facilitating the draws.
ST MICHAELS CHURCH
Thanks to all who assisted lately in the clean up, a big thanks to those who provided the flowers. The church is one of the nicest around and its up to all to keep it maintained.
