A music event hosted by a Portlaoise pub is fast establishing itself as a respected annual event and the crowds turned out once again on Easter Sunday to support a very worthy cause.
The Lethean Spring Fling festival is a music event in the Portlaoise pub and has raised over €15,000 for charity in its first three years. It raised almost €10,000 in 2016 alone for the Temple Street Children’s Hospital and that same charity was once again the beneficiary this year.
Run annually on Easter Sunday – on three different stages in Lethean – the festival showcases many of the local bands, all of whom perform for free for this festival.
Our photographer went along on Sunday to photograph those who were in early to attend the event.
