The winning Lotto Plus 2 ticket on Saturday night was sold in the midlands – and someone is waking up this morning €250,000 richer.
There was no winner of the main lotto jackpot worth over €8m or Lotto Plus 1 which is worth €500,000.
But the national lottery organisers have confirmed that there was one winner of Lotto Plus 2 and the winning ticket was sold in the midlands.
The winning numbers were: 5, 7, 32, 36, 40 and 41. The bonus number was 20.
