Tyrone manager Mickey Harte will speak at an event in Portarlington next Saturday to promote the Town.
The former All-Ireland football winning boss will be amongst a number of clubs and organisation who will be in attendance at the Portarlington Community Centre on April 12.
Bank of Ireland is hosting the event and they are calling on local people to come along on the day to see all that Portarlington Enterprise Town has to offer.
The event comes after the Portarlington Community Development Association entered the town in the 2016 Bank of Ireland Enterprising Towns Competition.
Aidan Mullins, Mary Keogh, Colm Powell, Lillian Shiels and Mary Oakley came together and made a submission on behalf of the town.
Three judges then came to Portarlington last November to view a powerpoint presentation by the group and then went on a tour of local industries and businesses.
In December, at the awards night, Portarlington won the Best in County Award and collected €3,000 in prize money.
The event next Saturday will take place between 11am and 3pm.
