Gardai are appealing for information following a violent altercation between two women in Clonaslee on Sunday night.
The incident occurred at 10.30pm and the injured party suffered injuries to her face, neck and had hair pulled out.
The injured party is in her early 20s and sought medical attention after the incident.
The Gardai are looking for witnesses.
