With new restrictions being introduced to help limit the spread of Coronavirus, having a handle on the various technologies is becoming vital once again.
If you missed out on the Zoom revolution the first time around – or had no need to be using it – you will probably need a crash course again.
And if you do, then this very helpful video from Suzanne Hoey, a digital and social media tutor with the LOETB, explains it very well in a simple step-by step guide.
“Many of you may not have heard of Zoom prior to the Covid-19 outbreak but I’m sure it’s something you’ve heard many times since,” she says in her introduction.
“People ask is it really only a business tool?
“ Well in my house, my eldest daughter is using it to dial into college lectures and my five-year-old is using it for her dance class tutorial.
“Given circumstance and you can use for free it has got a following.”
In a short but very practical four-minute video, she goes through everything you need to know, from registering, arranging a call, recording and much more.
